Second Chance Sanctuary (SCS) is a non profit 501c3, no kill, animal rescue organization. It is run by a dedicated group of volunteers from the eastern Connecticut/ Rhode Island area.
Since 2000 SCS has rescued and vetted over 700 animals. The care of these animals is solely dependent on private donations and small fundraisers.
At the current time, we are caring for 2 horses, 1 bull and 40 cats. If any of the animals becomes sick, our budget can quickly become depleted. So, we turn to those amimal lovers in the local area and request their help.
It is our hope that by requesting your financial support, we will be able to rescue and place more animals in loving homes.

The SCS mission is to dedicate ourselves to providing a safe haven and solid adoption opportunity for abandoned, abused, and unwanted animals.
SCS strives to fulfill this goal and to ensure the well-being of animals and their enduring desire to find love, affection, and most of all, a great home!
